Health Records, Consumer Complaints, and Violations
If you are the victim of a scam, you may file a Consumer Complaint here.
Records are required to be retained for 7 years, or 5 years after a former child client has turned 18. Records can be requested via email. Administrative charges may apply.
To file a complaint against someone licensed by BHEC, you must submit the Council’s complaint form. The form can be sent by email to Enforcement@bhec.texas.gov or by mail to 1801 Congress Avenue, Suite 7.300, Austin, Texas 78701.
